Lorrie had contacted me a few months ago with an intriguing inquiry – A full blown 80’s bash! This instantly reminded me of a few themed events in college. So before I headed out of town this weekend I had a great time shooting and listening to some classic tunes. The Westin Alexandria is an awesome hotel as well. Here are just a few favorites.
As I’ve been working on Amy and Ben’s wedding photos I couldn’t help myself to post a few! Eagle River is such an amazing environment, and Amy and Ben are some of coolest people I’ve photographed. These should hold you over until the rest are ready!

I had an awesome time with Valanda and Darryl the other weekend for their engagement shoot. We opted for an early morning session throughout the National Mall. It was great shooting around the Smithsonian Castle, Washington Monument, and the U.S. Capital. This area is having some of the highest temperatures on record, so by the time we finish up it was scorching!

Presenting Nucharee and Dans engagement! As mentioned in their sneak peak post we had a great time in Old Town Alexandria. As a side note, I shot their wedding this weekend! The photos looks great and I can’t wait to show them.

Ben happens to be the big brother of one of my best buddies, which makes it all the more exciting.
Eagle River looks to be a wonderful place for a wedding and I’ve been thinking non-stop at what kind of photo opportunities await. Their wedding will be at the end of July.
